Commission President Ursula von der Leyen spoke of solidarity with Poland in the face of a &#8220;hybrid attack to destabilize Europe&#8221; &#8211; not a word of solidarity with the migrants who are freezing and exposed to violence. They are dehumanized in such rhetoric, turned into a diffuse mass that is then either pitied or seen as a threat. We have decided to make them visible as human beings with a new photo newspaper. You can find more information and first insights <a href=\"https:\/\/unofficial.pictures\/shop\/keine-ruhe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in our webshop<\/a>.<br \/>\nWhile we were preparing this newspaper for printing, Putin attacked Ukraine. Fortunately, this time the EU decided to accept refugees without complications and let them continue to study and work. But when established papers like the <em>Neue Z\u00fcrcher Zeitung<\/em> then write, &#8220;this time they are real refugees,&#8221; and Black and exchange students of Color are treated as second-class refugees at the border or even sent back, it becomes frighteningly clear how racism is mobilized &#8211; even in this emergency situation &#8211; to deny people their basic rights. We must not accept this &#8211; at any border, in any law and in any encounter.<br \/>\nThe newspaper should contribute a part to this struggle. In order to reach as many people as possible with the topic, it is available at a free price, just like our publications on Eisenbahnstra\u00dfe. The presentation and reading is part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leipzig.de\/jugend-familie-und-soziales\/auslaender-und-migranten\/migration-und-integration\/interkultureller-und-interreligioeser-dialog\/internationale-wochen-gegen-rassismus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">International Weeks Against Racism Leipzig<\/a>, which started on Monday and run until March 27.
