Description

Exhibition catalogue for the exhibition of the same name, which took place from 5-13 January 2019 at Pögehaus e.V.

Poster text for the exhibition:
„Photography is painting with light? As diverse as our group and our questions to the world, as numerous are our perspectives through and on the camera. The commonly developed exhibition takes photography as a field of research – vivid, democratic and open as the society in which we want to live. From attributions about motherhood, making photography accessible for the blind, places of arrival for refugees, the exploration of the photographic self in a city like Cairo, to existential questions like violence, love and transience – all seven positions ask about whom and for whom: put themselves in perspective to the popular world language – photography. From us: Ana, Bea, Frieder, Igor, Paula, Rafa and Thora you can expect classical hangs, installations of words and images and elaborate photography books – and of course there was also painting with light.“

The exhibition was preceded by the workshop “how to publish”. From October to December 2018 the seven participants* developed their works and the joint exhibition.
