Description

On the zine construction site: “born to work” at the adi we exchanged ideas with 5 participants on two weekends in February 2018 on the topic of work.
The result is a very personal and political booklet that can be read and viewed from two sides. On the one side you can expect a personal reckoning with Peter Hartz, a utopian text on the future of work and a collage of texts by Foucault, Brecht, Hardt and Negri alongside symbolic images of working environments. Once turned around, it starts with two ironic fairy tales and continues with personal reflections on one’s own aspirations in independence. The booklet ends in the middle with a quote from Ani DiFranco: “Every tool is a weapon if you hold it right”.
